Dear you, with the grand idea...

Love yourself enough to believe that your next great thing is attainable.

Shoot for it.

All the generations before us have made it so much easier to be an entrepreneur. If you have an idea, manifest it and make sure it comes to life.

If you need financial assistance, create a go fund me and text everyone in your contact to square cash or Zelle you. I promise at least ten people will respond and support you. (I mean, I hope you have ten friends and family that will support your dream if your contact list is greater than fifty).

If you want a good marketing strategy, use hashtags on social media, connect with those around you, and attend developmental workshops. Social media can be used as  a platform with free advertisement. Social media marketing may even be more reputable than a billboard ad on the side of the street (how often do you park your car or slow your vehicle down to read the actual message — I'm sure not often).

I’m here to say, if you want to cut grass for a living, you do so. But don’t stop there, work towards getting your own landscaping company and be the best landscaping company in your city.

If you want to do hair, aspire to rent a chair from a salon now, but aim to be the one renting out chairs to others someday.

If you want to be a chef, don’t stop there. Find mentors, read up on different cuisines, research different ingredients, and aim to open your own restaurant. One that will stand out amongst all the other restaurants in your area.

Whatever you choose to do, strive to be the best at it. Aim to be better than your competitors, not because greatness is a competition, but because you put in the work to set yourself apart from the rest.

Yeah, you with the grand ole idea. Keep doing what you’re doing to get the financial support you need to be where you want to be. But once you’ve gathered the support and funds, aim for the next big thing. Being complacent will have you content with what you have and may cause you to forget that there is always more than what you have already acquired.

Like the AT&T commercials, “I want more, more is better, and it’s not complicated.”
