Dear mom.

We see you.

Moms, we see you.

To those who have given birth to us.

To those who have raised us.

To those who have treated us as if we are your own.

We see you.

Mother’s Day is a very emotional holiday — probably more emotional than Valentine's Day.

To the moms who have lost a child, we wish we could hug you and tell you it’s going to be okay, but only you know the pain you carry every day.

To the children who grieve the loss of their mother, we see you too. Here’s a kiss on the forehead from your mom (hope you felt that).

To the stepmoms who raise us and treat us as if we are your own. We may not say it much, but we love you too.

To the estranged mother and child relationships, we hope that one day you will be reunited and forgiveness will overflow in the room.

To the godmothers, you are amazing. Thank you for spoiling us, giving us all the candy, and creating thrilling memories with us that our moms refuse to participate in.

Moms, we see you and we love you. Thank you for providing us with life.

O.J.
